Dickinson's VS. Burt's Bees Towelettes

I have been a huge fan of Dickinson's oil controlling towelettes for over a year now.  These towelettes are perfect staple to any bag, desk drawer, or restroom. They are fantastic for after work outs and perfect for removing make up. Not only are they extremely refreshing but they leave my face soft ,clean, and fewer breakouts/blackheads.

So they other day I decided to give Burt's Bees facial cleansing towelettes a try.  This comes with 30 towelettes (Dickinson's is 20)   Burt's Bees towelettes are infused with White Tea and "other" botanical extracts and they smell great compared to the Dickinson's witch hazel smell. These towelettes did a good job removing my make up and over all cleaning my face, however a few minutes later my face felt ..the best word to describe it was ...gross!   The package claims "Removes dirt, oil and make-up without rinsing" but in my opinion that was wrong. I had to go rinse my face off. I had this strange slightly sticky film over my face, it was definitely NOT a clean feeling. Although Burt's Bees cloth towelette was softer than Dickinson's, I still couldn't get the same fresh clean feel that I do with Dickinson's.

Now, I am always on the hunt for a good deal but in this case I am willing to pay a little more for the Dickinson's 20 individually wrapped towelettes (usually $6.47 at my local Walgreen's) compared to the slightly cheaper Burt's Bees towelettes (usually $5.99)

I am a Dickinson's towelettes fan for life now and will never stray away!

From Dickinson's website

Personally I do not have anything against Burt's Bees products. In fact I love their Lip Balms and Hand Salve. Their towelettes were just not for me.

I'm with you on Burt's Bee's products. I was trying to find an all natural line, and trying out Burt's was not a good way to go. I think I'll stick with the tried and true of Origins, although more expensive it works wonders.
