There You'll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones

Honestly, the first few pages I was thinking that There You'll Find Me was going to be just like every other bubbely YA novel. Boy was I wrong!! I absolutely LOVED There You'll Find Me. Great writing, Fantastic Characters, and an emotional roller coaster!

This is a YA Christian book but It wasnt too pushy or annoying. Having lost my father a few years about I completely related to Finley. Finley recently lost her brother and decides to go to school in Ireland, where her brother had recently been before he passed. On the plane she meets the hunky Beckett Rush who is the Irish Robert Pattenson of There You'll Fine me land. Beckett is on his way to Ireland to film yet another teenage vampire movie. Throughout the book Finely and Beckett have a few adventures and fall in love. Finely finds out that Beckett isnt just a celebrity hearthrob snob. There were many other interesting characters in the book expecially Mrs. Sweeney.

This was such a great book, that every woman, young or old should read! Not being a very religious person, I still found this to be extremely beautiful! Get the tissues out, you're going to need it!

LÄRABAR Cherry Pie contains 3 ingredients!! Yep, thats right, only 3. Unsweetened cherries, dates and almonds. It contains 1 full serving of fruit, 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. I was highly impressed. So, how did it taste? It tasted exactly like a tart cherry pie! The texture would be best described as chewy, like raisins. I enjoyed the Cherry pie bar and will be trying out other flavors! Check out the pics

Softsoap Bar Soap

Thanks to Influenster and Soft Soap, I recieved two bars of Softsoap Coconut scrub bar soap to try. So I lathered up a bar and got squeeky clean. There was absolutely no soapy residue after I rinsed off and the scent wasnt too strong or overpowering. In fact, I think it could use a bit more scent. It is enriched with crushed coconut extract and exfoliants! There are very small exfoliants and it was extremely gentle. My cat had to barge in while taking pictures of the soap- *disclaimer* NOT intended for pet use!! Humans ONLY!

Montagne Jeunesse

Thanks to Influenster and Montagne Jeunesse, I received Pulped Pomegranate Passion Peel Off mask complimentary to test through Influenster’s VoxBox program. I honestly wasnt sure about it going on, it was a little runny but smelled fantastic. The .017 fl oz trial size packet wasnt enough to cover my entire face, I was just able to cover my cheeks, chin, and just a tiny bit on my nose. While waiting to dry I enjoyed the fabulous scent. I was concerned about actually being able to peel it off because it was so thin but nope, it peeled off good, clean,and pain free. I was surprised and my skin feels great. Monatagne Juenesse has made a new fan. Im adding a few pics, one is to show how great it peeled off. I highly recommend Montagne Jeunesse and will be buying more from now on.

Mesmerize (Mystyx #4) by Artist Arthur

This was the first book from this series that I had read and enjoyed it. Mesmerize was easy to read, fast paced and kept my interest throughout the entire book. This was a clean read that I would recommend to any young adult. Being the first book that I had read from the series, I was able to enjoy without being confused. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series now!

NYC New York Color

I recieved a NYC New York Color liquid lipshine to try complimentary through the Influenster Holiday VoxBox program. I recieved NUDE YORK CITY color and absolutely LOVE it. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smells fantastic! I believe its either coconut or vanilla. The lipgloss works great, not too gloppy or sticky. It goes on smooth and is long lasting. My lips look and feel great! The nude color for me was almost clear, but luckly I was graced with natural lip color so the little color that is in it, is all I need!

At only $2.49 this lipshine is such a inexpensive staple to any womans' make up bag or purse.

New Girl by Paige Harbison

Thanks to Netgalley, Harlequin, and Paige Harbison, I had the pleasure of reading New Girl.

After finishing this book I have discovered that New Girl is a tribute to Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. I have not read Rebecca, and honestly hadnt heard of that book before. But thanks to New Girl, I am going to have to read Rebecca.

New girl is about a Florida teen who was accepted to a private boarding school in New Hampshire. When the New Girl was younger she had asked her parents to go to a boarding school because of her love for the Harry Potter books. She was hesitant to go her senior year but didnt want to disapoint her parents.

Upon arrival, the New Girl discovers that she isnt welcome at all by her classmates and the mystery begins. A year before a student went missing and the classmates continue to wonder.New Girl is told in two point of views. The New Girl and the missing girl (Becca) Normally I don't enjoy books were the POV skips around alot but I enjoyed this and it was a well fit for the book.

Im not sure how I would rate New Girl, I was entertained and it kept my interest. But the fact that the students a year later continued to talk about the missing girl and accusing the New Girl of basically wanting to be here just didnt work for me. I wanted the New Girl to stand up for herself, tell her classmates to GET OVER IT! Over all I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone for some light reading. It did contain drug and sexual content.

I did enjoy the writing and am looking forward to reading more from Paige Harbison.

Thanks to Netgalley.com and Bold Strokes Books, I had the honor of reading me&you.com by KE Payne. Me&you.com is a a modern YA story about a college student named Immy. Immy has it all- great friends, a boyfriend everyone wants..but something just doesnt seem right. While chatting in a online forum, Immy discovers what was missing.

Me&you.com is a clean story about dealing with the feelings of being sexually confused. It is a honest and interesting look at opening your mind and heart to another person. That both men and woman can be heartbreakers..and that true love just might be right in front of your nose.

I just wanted to point out that I am straight, but I enjoyed this book. I recommend this to any openminded young person. The slang can be a bit difficult for American readers, but after awhile I found it cute.

I received a Gillette-Venus ProSkin Moisture Rich Razor complimentary to test through Influenster’s VoxBox program - So, Gillette Venus has finally decided to make their version of the Shick Intuition. (the razor that doesnt need shaving cream) I'm glad they did! This is much less bulky and easy to shave with. I did have to run it across my legs a few times and the "shave gel bars" can get pretty slimy. But overall its a great product and it left my legs silky smooth. The only thing I dont like about it is the price. I guess I'm just a frugal gal. Im not really into paying $9.95 for it, However the package states you get 3 razor cartridges. Vitabath In Bloom - Asian Orchid and Coconut body wash review

I recieved the Vitabath In Bloom Asian Orchid and Coconut body wash from my Influenster CosmoVoxBox. First..The smell: yuck! To me it was faintly like bug spray mixed in with a little bit of old lady. Luckily it was faint and by the time I dried off I couldnt smell it anymore. (But if I had liked the scent that would have been a bad thing) anyhoo...the product worked as expected. I felt clean and moisturized. The price for these bodywashes (IN MY OPINION) are not worth it. The are $9.99 for a 12oz bottle. product works good and its apparently "Formulated with: * Antioxidant rich super fruit blend: Acai, Goji, Coffee, Noni, Pomegranate, Green Tea & Mangosteen* Vitamin A, B3, C, E and Pro-Vitamin B5 skin conditioning nutrients enrich the formula. a little book review of; Blood Like Poison by M. Leighton

Ive found this author through Amazon and because of the low price and enjoying the sample on my Kindle I bought this right away. I highly enjoyed this and bought many of the authors other books. I posted a review this amazon "Great writing! The chemistry between Bo and Ridley is so strong and well written it almost gives you the chills (good chills of course!)but its not over the top and it is young adult appropriate. This is the first Ive read from this author and certainly will not be the last!! " I highly recommend!

Im on a review roll and decided to review something I didnt get from Influenster. I have to talk about Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes. OMG I absolutely LOVE these. My face has been so smooth and glowing ever since I started using these. For years Ive been using witch hazel and Ive always loved it. But Dickinson's must have put something extra special in these. I use them twice a day and feel so refreshed and clean. Mrs Frugal that I am, I do cringe at the price $6.49 for 20 towlettes..but my face deserves the splurge. I guess im just use to paying less than a $1 for a bottle of witchhazel. If anyone reads this...TRY IT!

Once Im on a computer, Im like a zombie..I swear I have a "surfing the web" problem. Anyhoo... Ive been watching alot of Madmen lately, and I really love the fashion and elegance (minus the adultery) Im not sure if its because I got married or what but Ive been going through alot of old pictures and came across very old pictures of my father and his family. I love these photos..it just seems like a more simpler time (even though it really wasnt!) alright, back to my laundry...uhm I mean work out

So, Ive been enjoying other cooking blogs lately and thought to myself..hey I should do that! Then I realized..hey I started a blog years ago and forgot about it! So here goes! I recently got married 10/05/2011 to the love of my life and my best friend. After seeing all the pictures of myself Ive decided that its really REALLY time for me to loose wieght. But, I still enjoy cooking and baking...and life is too short ! I dont want to eat rabbit food the rest of my life. So this is going to be my working out / cooking baking blog. I dont have anything to cook or bake right now..so I guess i should go work out!
