Once on Valentine's Day, my bf planned an entire romantic day. It included red roses, eating at a restaurant I love and tons of rose petals in our house <3

Just realized that I have to leave the comment here and not in the form.

So, the most romantic thing. A proposal in front of the entire school (even though it's for a game). :D

My school does this thing to raise money for charity, letting everyone order roses on valentines. Pretty much everyone got one except for me. But my last boyfriend, who'd remember me saying I didn't like roses, about two years ago, bought me, the next day, a beautiful necklace and asked me out :)
I said yes!

During valentine day , my classmates made me cookies and brownies! which is soo sweet! and they fold hearts out of two straws and make it into a pin and gave it to me. AWWH! And I got a rose of course! I miss my high school days

A guy who I was sort of on again/off again with studied abroad for a year in a country that I had used to live in and missed quite a lot - we were "off" at the time obviously, but were still friends, and he out of the blue sent me a huge care package filled with all these different types of biscuits, candies, crisps, and other various items that he knew I loved that were only available over there. It was the sweetest, most thoughtful gift I'd ever received.

Thanks for doing the giveaway!

A guy I'm really good friends with commented "My love for you is overflowing right now" in commenting to something I had said that we both really like.

So this isn't about me. Anyway, a suitor of my friend proposed to her in front of the Church during the Valentines Day with roses, chocolates and even a small band (his friends!).

Before I started dating my college boyfriend, he went abroad for a January term trip. Nothing happened yet between us, but I knew it would when he sent me a poem about how he couldn't stop thinking me. Seriously, more guys need to write poetry!

When my boyfriend and I first started dating, he came home from college every weekend so he could see me.

We all thought it was romantic when my friend told me that her boyfriend proposed to her on the eiffel tower, turned out though that she planned the whole thing! She dragged him to paris, up the eiffel tower (but the top was shut, so they ended up climbing two hundred + stairs to the first level) and then instructed him to propose!
quite funny really! I suppose you can't complain if you plan it yourself!

I'm in a long (very, very long) distance relationship and I thought it was very romantic of my boyfriend to actually make the trip to Wisconsin from Colombia just for me. My last boyfriend wouldn't even make a 30 minute car ride to see me, let alone a 12 hour plane ride. :P

Carley L. said...

I took a night class once a week while in University and this incredibly sweet guy would wait with me until my ride picked me up before leaving so I wouldn't have to wait in the deserted building alone. He did every week of the class and I thought it was the most simply sweet and romantic things ever. ♥

The most romantic thing that's ever happened to me is nothing really. I read tons of romantic books though, hope that counts. :)

That's actually really hard to tell. And not because there are too many romantic moments in my life >_<" HAHAHA. But I think it was a day when I was a little sad and my best friend showed up at my house out of the blue and brought all this great stuff with him like roses and chocolate and movies and cheered me up!

Hmm.. a guy once bought me a massive ton of flowers for my birthday and wrote me a good old fashioned love letter :D My present was an old copy of Dracula :) So cute!

An ex-boyfriend bought me a star! You know, one of the twinkly ones in the sky! I even have a plaque that shows the coordinates of the star and the constellation that it is in (he got it in the constellation of my astrological sign).

this is kind of sad but the answer is...nothing

My husbands very sweet proposal at my birthday party. Him and my dad sneaked away and future hubby asked dad and got permission. Future hubby told my dad it wouldn't be anytime soon, but I ended up with a ring on my finger less than 10 minutes later. He said he couldn't wait a minute longer to call me his future wife. It as incredibly sweet. My wedding day was also very romantic and so much fun!

Hmm... I've never really had anything romantic to me. And unfortunately I can't think of anything happening to others (even though my parents are shock full of them).

Sadly, nothing romantic has ever happened to me (unless you count just receiving flowers from a boy). But I've seen so many people have beautiful romantic, nerdy, bookish proposals, especially those that have something to do with Harry Potter. I'd love for something like that to happen to me.

I'm not a very romantic/sappy person... but I remember when I used to get emails with Beatles lyrics and know that my (now ex) bf was thinking of me whenever he heard those songs...

I know it sounds old school, but the most romantic thing was when I got a poem *.*

This probably doesn't sound romantic but I was hiking in this beautiful but brutal forest. It was the return trip, I was extremely tired and it was only me and another guy as we got separated from the group. He held my hand for the full two hours of the hike. No one ever held my hand for that long, I couldn't help but think of it and after that I started liking him. He was just very sweet.

My engagement was very romantic. Too bad I am a divorce now. I guess romance can be deceiving.
